Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0 Installation

IIS 6.0 is not automatically installed when you install a new Windows Server 2003 server. Follow these steps to install IIS 6.0

1.       Navigate to Control Panel and select “Add or Remove Programs.”

2.       Select “Add/Remove Windows Components”.

3.       Select “Web Application Server” and click “Next”

4.       Select “Next” to start the installation and insert Windows Server 2003 CD if it’s not already in drive. When splash screens pops up for additional configuration tasks, click “Exit”.

5.       Click “Finish” on the Completing the Windows Components Wizard.

6.       Restart computer
